Charles Phillip Shelor is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Arlington. His research focuses on developing analytical technologies and separation methods that improve the precision, reliability, and practicality of chemical measurements across environmental and biological applications. His current work includes PFAS and organic fluorine analysis, electrochemical detection, ion chromatography, weak-acid measurements, and analytical methods designed for greater compatibility with mass spectrometry. He was named a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors in 2026 in recognition of his work developing technologies that improve the precision and reliability of chemical analysis and separation methods.Presentation(s):
