Steven Alexandre is a Mechanical Engineering Technology student at Farmingdale State College with experience in laboratory testing, 3D modeling, product documentation, and manufacturing-related research. He currently works as a Laboratory Assistant at Koehler Instrument Company, where he runs tests on grease and lubrication instruments, prepares technical reports, creates Excel sheets for newsletter content, and develops 3D models and drawings for instruments using Autodesk Inventor.
In addition to his work at Koehler, Steven serves as a Student Researcher at Farmingdale State College, where he has led research focused on advanced 3D printing applications, including the development of high-performance acoustic sound panels. His work includes designing circuit cases and acoustic panel components in Fusion 360, as well as improving laboratory organization and 3D printer maintenance procedures to support consistent production quality.
Steven also has prior customer-facing experience through sales roles at Macy’s and the Queens College Student Bookstore, where he developed strong communication, product explanation, and customer service skills.
