Lei Andre Delos Reyes, M.S., EIT, is a chemical engineer and Application Engineer currently working with CECO Environmental under the Burgess-Manning brand. He earned his Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Stony Brook University in Spring 2026, where his graduate research focused on cobalt oxide catalyst synthesis using one-pot chemical vapor deposition and characterization through Raman spectroscopy, FTIR, and BET surface-area analysis.
Prior to joining CECO Environmental, Lei Andre worked as a Technical Application Engineer at Koehler Instrument Company, where he supported ASTM-compliant petroleum and lubricant testing instrumentation through technical demonstrations, product documentation, CRM database management, and customer-facing training materials. His work included supporting distributors, major industry accounts, and members of the National Lubricating Grease Institute.
Lei Andre also has research experience in nanomaterials and hydrogen adsorption, including the synthesis and characterization of partially reduced graphene oxide and metal oxide-decorated nanocomposites. In addition, he served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for chemical engineering unit operations laboratories, helping students develop practical skills in laboratory safety, instrumentation, and experimental procedures.
