Commercial Quartz Combustion Tubes for Dual Plasma Sulfur Chemiluminescence Detectors

Abstract:
In my presentation last year, I described research reexamining quartz as the basis for SCD combustion tubes to improve detector performance, specifically targeting the dual plasma SCD, DP 355 and Agilent model 8355. I am pleased to continue this discussion and most importantly to describe the commercial introduction of related new products. The proprietary and patent pending technology enabling this introduction will be discussed in detail concerning material findings and performance. In short, these tubes arrive alive and perform out of the box in a manner that tames SCD user frustration from dead or dying ceramics.
