James has been a practicing gas chromatographer for more than 30 years after receiving his Ph.D. in Analytical Gas Chromatography from the University of California, San Diego, in 1988. He is a co-author of the first published paper to describe Reversed Fill/Flush Flow Modulation GCxGC and is part of the team at Dow in Lake Jackson lead by Bill Winniford working to advance the practice of RFF GCxGC on both commercial and homebuilt systems.
