Gretchen McAuliffe, President and Principal Consultant of Labtopia Inc., oversees the operational team at Labtopia Informatix. The team provides LIMS selection and implementation services to laboratories within the public and private sector across various industries. She has extensive experience in LIMS project management, requirements gathering, business process analysis, and LIMS software implementation. She has represented both clients and LIMS software vendors during the selection and implementation process. With a background in laboratory and quality management systems, Ms. McAuliffe is uniquely skilled to identify and translate the needs and requirements of laboratories into stream-lined, industry-compliant software platforms. Her expertise has assisted clients in identification and reduction of non-valued added activities, while improving compliance. Ms. McAuliffe has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Houston and a M.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Houstonâ€Clear Lake. She is an American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Biomedical Auditor (CBA), Certified HACCP Auditor (CHA). She is also one of the first GMP professionals in the world to be certified to ASQ Certified Pharmaceutical GMP Professionals (CPGP) criteria. She is also a certified ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Lead Auditor.
