Dr Shayne Green graduated in 1984 with a B.S. in Chemistry from Murray State University and in 1989 with a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from The University of Alabama under the advisement of Professor Wolfgang Bertsch. He has worked in R&D for Dow for 30 years. His focus is in determination of trace concentration levels of small molecules in polyethylene and food packaging using extraction, chromatography and mass spectrometry, which includes polymer additives analyses and taste and odor analyses.
