Dr. Warren Samms is the Informatics Support Scientist for Shimadzu Scientific Instruments covering nineteen states, joining the company in April 2018. Prior to Shimadzu, he served for ten years in various analytical and management roles within the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences in Houston, TX, including most recently as Director of Toxicology and Chemistry. Warren is committed to providing high-quality support to the users of Shimadzu analytical software, with an emphasis on client-server systems, electronic workflows, and robust data integrity. He holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas.
